Note :-

We measure water consumption/effluent discharge readings at all the member units as per agreement but for a defaulter tannery Iqbal Leathers ltd, we measure the effluent discharge from outside from the connected exclusive terminal manhole of conveyance system of CETP receiving waste water effluent from M/s Iqbal Leathers ltd, which is a defaulter tannery and misbehaved our Supervisors in October 2004 and stopped our entry into their tannery to conceal the facts of their illegal continued expansion of plant & machinery and went into litigation and since then enjoying the CETP facility and making almost negligible payment by an illegal way directly into our bank account and even not making the minimum payment for its own admitted and paid-up discharge up to 490Kl/day as in the past which they paid even before October 2004 for almost 2 years, when we were inspecting the water meters of this tannery. As a matter of fact up-gradation done for CETP Company was mainly required to absorb and treat the shock load of excessive volume of untreated effluents from this tannery reaching CETP in uncontrollable manner like a slurry, so that the survival of other member units who are cooperating with rules and regulations of CETP could be sustained. And the CETP facility for our other member units which are sick today, could be restored to them when the issues would be resolved.
